Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program (MAEAP)

The MAEAP is an innovative, proactive program that helps farms of all sizes and all commodities voluntarily prevent or minimize agricultural pollution risks. The program addresses erosion and runoff. The top 5% of farms have earned this designation.

Cornell Agricultural Life Sciences Produce Safety Alliance (PSA)

THE PSA is a collaboration between Cornell University, FDA, and USDA to prepare fresh produce growers to meet the regulatory requirements included in the United States Food and Drug Administration’s Food Safety Modernization Act Produce Safety Rule.

GAP and GHP certifications verify that fruits and vegetables are produced, packed, handled, and stored as safely as possible to minimize risks of microbial food safety hazards. This important audit program is the backbone of ensuring a safe food supply.

Certified Naturally Grown is a participatory guarantee system that provides an important alternative to third-party certification programs. It is a locally-focused quality assurance system using peer-based inspections. We participate for a portion of our produce.
